NABWIC Held Virtual Luncheon on Healthcare Contracting Opportunities
The National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC) held a Virtual Billion Dollar Luncheon focused on contracting, construction, procurement, and supplier opportunities within the healthcare industry. The online event took place Wednesday, October 14, 2026, with a virtual reception at 11:30 AM EST and the presentation beginning at 11:45 AM EST.
According to NABWIC, the program was designed to connect businesses directly with healthcare industry leaders and decision-makers while offering insight into upcoming opportunities, procurement processes, capital programs, and supplier engagement. Representatives from Harris Health and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) were among the featured presenters.
The luncheon recognized Pamela Bryant, Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Parkland Health, as its Woman in the Spotlight, and included greetings from the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) Atlanta. Registration for the virtual event was handled through Eventbrite at https://nabwichealthcarebdl2026.eventbrite.com, and more information on NABWIC is available at www.nabwic.org.
